Counselling face to face in Borough SE1 and SW2 and online availability
My approach is based on the belief that we all have the capacity to overcome the challenges we meet in our lives and develop our own potential. We are living through difficult times and constantly having to adapt to new challenges whether they be global or personal, life will suddenly throw something your way that can be destabalising, may leave you feeling anxious, depressed, angry or lacking in confidence and unsure how to move on through the storm of life. Therapy offers a moment of pause and exploration to discover what you need now to go forward.
The therapeutic process can provide an opportunity for the client to take time out; to focus on and be curious about their own needs, wishes and dreams, and to potentially create new ways of seeing and understanding their lives and the relationships within it.
Within a confidential and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I will support the client in the identification of patterns of thought, limiting beliefs and behaviours they may feel overwhelmed by or stuck with. Together we will explore the here and now of the lived experience, the back story and the ways in which the past may have influenced the choices of today. Through deepening self-awareness, clients can develop the freedom to strengthen their own sense of self and authenticity.
As a counsellor I work one to one with individuals across all life stages with a variety of different issues including anxiety and depression, managing major life stage change, anger, eating disorders, body issues, adoption, abandonment issues, self esteem and confidence, relational difficulties, managing work place stress and conflict, feeling stuck or creatively blocked.
At the moment I am providing face to face appointments in Borough as well as online appointments.
